Manifestation only occurs from possibilities. It is up to you to create the possibilities that could come into your life. Simply working on those possibilities is all you need to do. The universe will choose which one of those possibilities manifests in your life according to what is resonating most with your energy. This is why it is important to continually do shadow work, always be honest with yourself, and understand the law of resonance.
